Welcome to the Haunted River Styx website, presented by Heritage Gardens. The Haunted River Styx is formerly known as the Trilogy of Terror.
Why the name The Haunted River Styx? The River Styx served as a crossroads where the world of the living met the world of the dead, and the world of the mortal met the world of the immortal.Greek Mythology Gods, mortals, and great heroes and villains made their way across the river Styx. Some crossed the river many times, but for most, it was a one way trip.
Each of our events Extreme Sundown - The old west town; Fear Overload - the haunted barn; Shadows Edge - our haunted hay ride. Will leave you screaming for more!
What makes our haunted attractions different than the others OURS IS ACTUALLY HAUNTED. We have had a few paranormal groups out to do investigations most noteable S.E.M.P.S. (South East Michigan Paranormal Society) You can go to our evidence page to review it.
So when you go thru our attractions you may want to ask yourself is this part of the attraction or is it something from the beyond?
We have had paranormal activity in our home for years as well as outside in the haunted barn and the old west town. We have seen shadow people in all three spots, along with many voices, that is why we had the paranormal groups come in and investigate each spot. Our home was blessed and within 2 weeks later it had caught fire and was a total loss. S.E.M.P.S. believes the paranormal activity is attached to the land and not the actual home or any one paticular building. It is their belief that these spirits wander the entire property. We have had many employees quit due to the paranormal activity such as doors being pulled out of their hands, being touched and hearing voices whisper in their ears. So the question is, CAN YOU HANDLE IT? We recommend guests should be 14 and over do to some of the graphic nature of our attractions.
